Ms. Maiysha Ware provides administrative support to the Team Rohan Elite team. Maiysha is a native New Jerseyan and has worked in the nonprofit sector for over twenty years. She received a Masters in Business Administration from Centenary College and Bachelors of Science in Architecture from New Jersey Institute of Technology. Her current position as Chief Operations Officer of an Opioid Treatment Program and newly appointed Vice President of the New Jersey Association for the Treatment of Opiate Dependence offers many rewards, not least of which includes helping those in need of recovery from the disease of drug addiction and their families and communities. Her experiences working in the field have given her a deep appreciation for how nonprofits are a critical component of community life, serving to conveniently fulfill and meet the needs of individuals and families in the community.
As a proud mother of two, she spends most of her spare time involved with youth sports and attending to her children’s needs; yes, she is a “Soccer Mom” and has no qualms about it! Soccer mom fits her well as she played soccer as center back for NJIT and proudly recollects when she was named “Rookie of the Year”. During those brief moments when she is not involved with the kids, she enjoys using her creative mind through graphic designing.
