Rev. Patrick L. Adams is a licensed Ordained Elder at the New Hope Community Christian Church in Brooklyn, New York, where he serves as Associate Minister. For the past 22 years, Rev. Adams has been happily married to his lovely wife, Keisha Adams and they have 4 beautiful children.
Currently, Rev. Adams is employed by the New York City Transit Authority where he faithfully serves as Bus Operator. Over the course of 21 years, he has received numerous driver safety awards with over 10 commendations from the New York City Transit Authority for his professional and courteous customer service.
Rev. Adams attended undergraduate courses at both Medgar Evers College and Empire State College, where he majored in Business Administration and Counseling. He also received a Certificate of Completion from the New York Annual Conference Ministerial Institute where he majored in Biblical Scriptures, Church Organization, Polity, History of African Methodism, Pastoral Counseling and Preaching.
Full of passion for youth mentoring, Rev. Adams is driven to serve and has over 15 years of experience ministering to youth and young adults. He was named Sunday School Teacher of the Year and was among 100 young men to be awarded the 100 Black Men of Distinction at the historic Grace Hill mansion in Prospect Park, Brooklyn NY. This award was given to young men within the borough who were nominated by Pastors, elected officials or community leaders for their dedication and hard work in community affairs and youth programs.
In addition to his youth mentoring efforts, Rev. Adams has coached and worked with PAL, Soul in the Hole Basketball Tournament, Pop Warner Football League, North Plainfield Soccer Club, North Plainfield Jr Canucks Football Program, and North Plainfield Youth Sports Program.
